Webfont
This license allows you to use the Font on a website by embedding it as a web font. You may use it for personal and commercial projects, including client work, provided the Font is securely embedded and cannot be downloaded, extracted, or used in apps, platforms, or editable tools.
Introduction
Please review this Agreement before purchasing any Fonts from calamar.studio.
By downloading, installing, or embedding the Font software (“Font” or “Fonts”) created by PE Oksana Petrenko (“Calamar Studio”), you agree to be bound by the terms of this End User License Agreement (“EULA”).
This Agreement is between you (either an individual or the legal entity you represent) and Calamar Studio. If you are purchasing on behalf of your employer or client, that entity is considered the Licensee, and you confirm that you have the authority to bind them to this Agreement.
All Fonts are protected by copyright laws and international treaties. Calamar Studio retains full ownership of the Fonts and grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to use them under the terms described below.
How you can use the Font
This license allows you to use the Font as a web font on a website you own or control. The Font must be embedded using @font-face and used only within a web browser environment.
You may install the Font on a single web server and use it on a single domain (including its subdomains, as part of the same project). Use across multiple separate domains or client websites requires separate licenses.
The total usage is limited by the number of page views purchased at checkout. If your website exceeds the licensed page views, you must upgrade your license.
The Font must be converted to secure web formats (such as WOFF or WOFF2) and hosted in a controlled environment. It must be implemented in a way that reasonably prevents users from accessing, downloading, or extracting the font file.
You may use the Font for both personal and commercial websites, including client projects, as long as the Font remains protected and is not distributed.
Allowed Uses
You may:
• Use the Font on a website via @font-face
• Use the Font for personal and commercial websites
• Use the Font in client websites (without transferring the font files)
• Embed the Font in secure WOFF/WOFF2 formats
• Display live, dynamic text on websites using the Font
Prohibited Uses
You may NOT:
• Allow users or visitors to download, access, or extract the Font file
• Use the Font across multiple domains (unless separately licensed)
• Use the Font in apps, software, PDFs, eBooks, or any non-web environments
• Use the Font in SaaS platforms, template builders, or design tools (e.g. Canva, Templett, Corjl)
• Use the Font in systems where end users can create, edit, or customize content
• Use technologies other than standard web embedding (e.g. Cufón, sIFR, etc.)
• Modify, reverse engineer, or convert the Font software
• Share, resell, sublicense, or distribute the Font in any form
• Include the Font in templates, source files, or products for resale
• Use the Font in a way that allows extraction, reuse, or redistribution
Any use not explicitly permitted by this Agreement is strictly prohibited.
Important Limitation (Platform & Template Use)
This Webfont License does not cover any use where the Font is made available to multiple users within a system or where users can create or customize content using the Font.
This includes (but is not limited to):
• SaaS platforms
• Online editors
• Template builders
• Design tools
• Generators
Such use requires a separate Template, Platform or Enterprise License.
Additional Limitations
The Font may not be used in any unlawful, harmful, or offensive content, including materials that promote violence, discrimination, or illegal activity.
You may not claim the Font as your own work or misrepresent its authorship. Use of the Font in logos or branding does not grant exclusive ownership of the Font itself.
Legal
The Font is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind.
Calamar Studio shall not be liable for any damages arising from its use or inability to use the Font. In all cases, liability is limited to the amount paid for the license.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Calamar Studio from any claims resulting from misuse of the Font or violation of this Agreement.
Final Terms
This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and Calamar Studio.
Calamar Studio reserves the right to update this Agreement at any time. The version in effect at the time of purchase applies to your license.
